We were asked to assist
in a very important event this summer at the N.P.A.C. Center called Learn To Laugh. This was a gathering of many different arts putting on workshops to support performing arts in schools.
Jingle Jack made
his debut! Quite a ham!!!
We've been enjoying times with the Thomas Edison adult reading program. They have gotten quite creative and storyboard with us to create their own books! Here they are acting out one of their
books using the piggly
puppets.
We sure had fun at the First Assemblies
of God in Lima, OH August 24. We were
blessed to help dedicate their new youth room
that they added! Here we are singing our new
and original song...Bury My Bones In The Backyard!!!
This was a special day. We started at the YWCA distributing
dinners for Easter. visited on of the local nursing homes and then found ourselves eating dinner dressed as clowns at the Wilder family benefit.

The Peony Festival was fun. It was windy and hot Friday night, and we had an amp blow out.
We still made it through the show! The kids who were there seemed to have a good time. We capped it off with a
great parade entry. The weather was much more cooperative.

Giving out holiday turkey dinners is one of
our favorite outreaches. Here we are
with one of the ladies who lives at the YWCA,
and we found a couple of other needy families. Times
are getting tough for a lot of folks.
Once again we had fun with the kids at Wesley
U.M.C. at their summer outreach. They
had all kinds of games and fun stuff.
We tied some balloons and painted faces!
The Chamber Of Commerce asked us to join in
the fun at the City's 2nd annual Ribfest.
We brought out a new character, Milton C.
(Chops) Pigglesmith. He was protesting
with a sign that said, "Eat more cow!" Cow-a-belle did NOT agree

We were invited to New Hope Church in Decatur, IN for
a VBS program! We did our skit about the Fruits of the Spirit, and boy-oh-boy was it FUN!!!

Starlight Club. They are a visually impaired group that the Lions are associated with. (See our friend
pictured on the HOME page.) We then visited a foster home and entertained some of the children before visiting children
in St. Rita's Hospital. We had our treat at the Kewpie Restaurant.

We had a great weekend for Mothers' Day.
Saturday we had a tea at Wesley United Methodist Church that was barrels of fun! After that we went
to Franklin Elementary's carnival where we ate and did some balloon animals. On Sunday we went
to St. Mark's Lutheran Church for another tea. It was a lot of fun. Everybody wore
a hat, even the pastor at St. Mark's!
